Practice labs for life’s most useful skills.

Your company needs exceptional leaders and powerful teams that can handle anything that comes their way. And they need your help learning the skills that matter most, in the shortest time.

1 Instantly Useful

Our programs are designed to deliver real value for your teams fast, not weeks or months from now. We enable rapid skill building by focusing on tipping point skills— small changes that lead to big impact.

2 Sticky Skills

We rely on the latest in behavioral science research – including our own in-house data and real-world outcomes from hundreds of leading organizations – to inform what we teach and how we teach it.

3 Delightfully Unusual

We’ve thoughtfully engineered our programming to offer something fresh and playful. This is not your typical corporate leadership training. Never hear “Why are we doing this again?” at the (virtual) water cooler.

4 People-Positive

Most people want to do great work. But most companies aren’t designed to activate this natural desire. We help organizations shape their systems and culture to become workplaces where people flourish.

The LifeLabs Learning Story

Our Start

We wondered: what if there were a school for adults on the real stuff of life – the art and science of people skills? What if we transformed the workplace into a practice lab for learning life’s most useful skills? That’s how LifeLabs Learning began.

Our Research

We identified the best managers and influencers and brought them to our lab. We wanted to uncover what they did differently compared to average folks. What we discovered changed everything.

Our Growth

Today, we offer world-class training in-person and virtually around the globe. We’ve trained over 400,000 people at 2,000+ of the most cutting-edge companies. We’re redefining what it means to be a great leader and helping make the most critical people skills stick.

Our Future

We’re excited to help our clients build the kinds of engaged, high-impact teams that make work meaningful, impactful, and fun. We’re upskilling tomorrow’s future leaders, managers, and teams with the core skills they need to make tomorrow better for everyone.

How is our training and consulting different?

Despite good intentions, most organizations still treat employees like resources rather than people. This approach creates the very problems it tries to prevent — from disengagement to underperformance.

People have an innate drive to do purposeful work. At LifeLabs, we help organizations shape their culture and systems to embrace the human desire to engage and contribute.

Our Values

  • • Develop deliberately.

    • Default to questions.

    • Seek out feedback.

    • Keep learning about yourself.

  • • Give feedback.

    • Be willing to change your mind.

    • Explore beyond your comfort zone.

    • Address microaggressions.

  • • Bring your genuine, weird self to work.

    • Engineer surprise and delight.

    • Play with new ways of doing things.

    • Create a space where others can play.

  • • Get feedback on works in progress.

    • Do, don’t stew!

    • Coach others when they’re stuck.

    • Have tough, imperfect conversations.

  • • Cut unnecessary steps.

    • Make information brain-friendly.

    • Practice self-management.

    • Show up prepared.

  • • Discover what you need to thrive.

    • Take breaks to recharge.

    • Create ‘dark time’ (work-free boundaries).

    • Opt-out when you need to.

  • • Deliberately include diversity.

    • Make others feel seen and valued.

    • Create equitable opportunities.

    • Look for ways to bust bias.

You can just tell that the facilitators have seen it in action in the workplace and they have researched it and they have really great responses whenever there is a question about other topics that were brought up.
