The LifeLabs Learning value that most resonates with me and why: Choose Courage Over Comfort is a value I am rooted in every day, both at work and in my personal life. Fear is a universally uncomfortable human emotion, and at the same time, I see it as an invitation to step outside of your comfort zone, stretch your ideas about what you believe you can do, and in the end, feel proud of the new knowledge, connections, and confidence you have gained as a result of your willingness to be uncomfortable and take a risk.

Fun fact: I am a creative soul at heart and love trying out any kind of art form just to see what it’s like! So far, I’ve self-published poetry, sewed wonky looking blouses, knit winter scarves, sketched birds, and even tried stand up comedy at an open mic night. Excited to see what my next experiment will be!
