Knowing how to give feedback that is specific, actionable, and inspiring is the hallmark of a great leader. In this lab, you’ll discover the science of feedback and practice giving effective feedback, even in tough situations.

  • Practice opening the conversation by decreasing defensiveness
  • Understand how to turn feedback into a two-way conversation using questions that check perception, joint problem-solve, make a request, and determine commitment/ understanding
  • Learn how to build trust and self-efficacy in directs through strengthening their strengths
  • Practice asking for feedback to build a feedback culture within your team
  • Craft a real-world feedback script and receive feedback on your feedback

After this workshop, you will know how to:

  • Convert poor quality feedback into high quality feedback
